About Charlotte Mosquito Exterminator
Charlotte Mosquito Exterminator is a locally-owned, family company. We started this business 5 years ago, from scratch, because my daughter was getting bitten by mosquitoes. She couldn’t go outside without getting huge welts on her body from the bites. Being a former Environmental Geologist, working for one of the largest laboratories in the state, I started experimenting with the most environmentally friendly treatments that would generate positive results. We started this company with our friends, neighbors and now even have customers working with us.
Empty—A way to describe our backyard. Or our friend’s backyard. Or the neighborhood playground. Not because children weren’t itching to go outside and play, but because they were itching when they went outside!
The playgrounds had been taken over by swarms of buzzing, biting, mosquitoes!
Even worse, disease-carrying mosquitoes! With fears of Zika and West Nile viruses, none of the parents wanted to send their kids outside.
Then came the news that Charlotte ranked in the TOP 10 WORST CITIES FOR MOSQUITOES!
That was the last straw. That's when we decided to start Charlotte Mosquito Exterminator and take back our yard.
